The Basket and Bows Pattern is a fun project to make. There are many options on size and style for you to choose.
Most parts of the basket are made using 1 1⁄2″ wide strips of fabric. You can either cut fabrics from your stash or purchase a HoneyBun fabric roll. With one HoneyBun roll you will be able to make 2 or 3 baskets (depending on the size of the basket you make).
The basket is made usingour HoneyBun Sasher Tool. This allows you to fold HoneyBun strips with the batting already layered inside the strip. The strips are then sewn to make the strips into rope style cord.
We have also included instructions on making bows, which is a great way to decorate your bowls, or to use on other items as desired.
** You can purchase either a downloadable PDF or the physical Pattern (please select the relevant option from the dropdown menu below the video). ** Please note – if purchasing the downloadable PDF, the Pattern can be printed as an A5 booklet or on A4 pages. However, the Basket Base Template Sheet must be printed as an A4 size (this is the size provided with the physical Pattern). If you live outside Australia, please google paper sizes to ensure you print your Pattern and Template Sheets on paper that is an equivalent size to Australia’s (or print to ‘actual size’ if paper is larger).
