In this episode, we will walk through every stage of preparing your quilt for its final frame. First, I’ll share my step-by-step method for accurately measuring and squaring up your quilt centre to ensure it lies perfectly flat.
We’ll then move on to calculating and cutting your side borders, and I’ll explain the important reason we prepare them before the top and bottom ones. Once your borders are ready for quilting, I’ll take you on a tour of creative quilting designs, from feathers and melons to drawing a brand-new double-grid flower pattern.
