The QAYG Quilting Templates Set A are for use on different size blocks with feed dogs up. They have been designed to use with any Quilt As You Go quilt and are perfect for a beginner.

Included in this pack are:

• 3 quilted block templates (clear in colour), including
  • 1 x 6" Hibiscus Flower Template
  • 1 x 4 1/2" Flower Template
  • 1 x 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" Leaf Template

Please note: this is NOT a pattern.

Using the  4 1/2" Flower Template:

The Flower Template has been designed with 2 rows of 4 points. Using these 2 rows enables you to create 2 different sized flowers. In addition to this, you will note that there is also 2 holes located towards the centre of the Template. These holes enable you to create a 5 point flower and a 6 point flower. You simply need to align the relevant hole as you rotate the Template and trace through the cut outlines with a Bohin Fabric Marking Pencil.

In Set B, you receive two new designs to add to your design arsenal. Simply trace the designs onto your fabric in any number of configurations using a fabric marking pencil, then free motion quilt with your feed dogs up, quilting the material on your domestic sewing machine one block at a time using a sew slip mat to help glide and guide your fabric as you simply sew on the lines.

The Clover Tapered Tailor's Awl is used for punching holes in leather and fabrics, pulling out corners and widening out spaces.

Pauline regularly uses the Tapered Tailor's Awl to assist in forming tight corners in seams and for aligning fine bias neatly when gluing together on the surface of fabric. She also uses it to assist in turning out shapes such as yo yo's, which are made using our Circle Set.

The Bohin Pencil Set is a marking pencil for use on fabrics. It is a super-fine, 0.9mm propelling mechanical pencil that glides over fabric beautifully. An excellent tool for marking fabric for quilting, embroidery, piecing, and more!

The Bohin Pencil Set is erasable or washable, and comes with an eraser and two different coloured lead refills - one each of white and black leads. The two lead colours mean you can mark a wide range of fabric colours with ease.

Great for use with our range of Rulers, and our Half and Quarter Square Triangle Rulers and Circle Tool as you can easily mark through the small laser cut marking holes.
