The1 1/2" Sasher™ Tool is PQW's version of a bias maker. It allows you to quickly and easily fold bias or straight grain fabric strips in half (raw edges together), or perform a perfect bias fold using just the Sasher Tool and an iron.

Use the 1 1/2" Sasher to make:

• Stems and vines for applique,
• Sashing strips for Quilt As You Go quiltmaking,
• Bias tape for Celtic or stained glass applique
• Bag handles
• Also the perfect size for folding bindings

You will notice that the sides of the Sasher have a curved shape. This is so the curved edge of an iron can neatly fit against the Sasher as you push it along; Which means no more burnt fingers! Pauline recommends using the mini iron as it fits perfectly in the curve of the Sasher.

Please note - that the size on the Sasher is the finished size of the folded strip. If you require a 1 1/2" finished size, cut the fabric 3" wide and then put through the 1 1/2" Sasher.

You'll have perfectly folded strip every time!

The Bias - Sasher Ruler measures 5" x 12 1/2" and is designed to use when cutting accurate bias or straight grain fabric strips to be put through any size Sasher™ Tool.

 The Ruler allows you to cut:

• strips from 1/4" up to 5" wide with every measurement in between having the 1/4" included
• strips on the straight grain or on the true bias
• stripes, checks and plaids on the bias
• strips for binding of quilts
• squares any size from 1/4" to 5"
• perfect bias join
• rectangles for cornerstones
• triangles from 1/4" up to 5" for making patchwork blocks
• triangles

It will also allow you to:

• mark the bias stitching line for joining binding strips together
• mark a precise diagonal line for making half square and quarter square triangles

The Bias - Sasher Ruler has been laser cut and the measurements edged by laser resulting in all measurements being true and accurate.

It's ideal for use to cut bias strips with the Clover 18mm Rotary Cutter.

The Weaver Sasher Set can now be used in place of the Bag Straper Set!

The Weaver Sasher Set allows you to quickly and easily make weaving strips for use in quilting and sewing projects.

The Set includes a 1 1/2" and a 2 1/2" size, which allow you to fold weaving strips already layered with batting/wadding.

You will notice that the sides of the Sasher have a curved shape. This is so the curved edge of an iron can neatly fit against the Sasher as you push it along; Which means no more burnt fingers! Pauline recommends using the Mini Iron as it fits perfectly in the curve of the Sasher.

Initially designed to create patterns like our Woven Floor Rug Pattern, the Weaver Sashers can also be used to make the Benji Dog Coat Pattern.

Please note - Your fabric needs to be cut twice the size of the Weaver Sasher, with the batting needing to be cut ½” narrower. For example, using the 2 ½” tool, cut fabric 5” wide and cut batting 4 ½” wide.

Roxanne Glue Baste-It is an incredible fabric glue that's 100% water-soluble, meaning it washes out. The glue can be set with the use of a hot iron or left to dry naturally for 20 - 30 minutes. It holds firmly until you want to loosen it and does not feel stiff when dry.

It comes as a two-way applicator designed by Pauline Rogers for easier use. Remove the lid to find a small tip that is excellent for applying the glue to applique work,  chenille strips, quilt binding - anywhere you would normally use pins.  Turn the glue around and unscrew the base, where you will find a sponge which is ideal for spreading applied glue out across larger surfaces, such as sashings for Quilt As You Go projects.

Use Roxanne Glue in appliqué instead of Vliesofix (or other bondable webbing), and as a replacement for using pins. You'll save time and money.
