The Precision Quilt Wonders Ruler 12 1/2" x 12 1/2" is part of the new range of rulers that are used for measuring and cutting for quilting and patchwork projects.

The ruler is sized at 12 1/2 inches x 12 1/2 inches with 1/8 inch, 1/4 inch and 1/2 inch markings.

It is time to get creative with your Sashings with our NEW QAYG Pieced Sashing Template Collection. Pauline and her team have created the ultimate collection of templates especially for quilters using the Quilt As You Go technique!

These will be perfect for you, as Sashings for the QAYG method have to be made quite differently to Sashings for other quilts. Just one set will enable you to make squares, triangles, flying geese and star Sashings.

Gone are the HOURS of time spent measuring obscure shapes to make your Sashings fit your QAYG quilt. The team at PQW have done the hard work for you by eliminating all of the maths you would normally have to work out.

All you need to do is: cut around the templates, stitch your fabric together, run the strips through the matching size Sasher tool and VOILA - your Sashings are done! It has never been easier to create stunning, unique and classy Sashings.

The 3" Sasher™ Tool is PQW's version of a bias maker. It allows you to quickly and easily fold bias or straight grain fabric strips in half (raw edges together) or perform a perfect bias fold using just the Sasher Tool and an iron.

Used to make:

• Stems and vines for applique,
• Sashing strips for Quilt As You Go quilt making,
• Bias tape for Celtic or stained glass applique,
• Bag handles,
• Binding for quilts,
• Facings and trims for dressmaking,
• Cover strips for seams and bias folds in fabrics

The 3" Sasher is a great size for making 1 1/2" wide bag handles. Simply put a 6" strip through the 3" Sasher, then through the 1 1/2" Sasher for bag handles with no turning through (add your wadding/ batting after folding)!

You will notice that the sides of the Sasher have a curved shape. This is so the curved edge of an iron can neatly fit against the Sasher as you push it along; Which means no more burnt fingers! Pauline recommends using the mini iron as it fits perfectly in the curve of the Sasher.

Please note - the size on the Sasher is the finished size of the folded strip. If you require a 3" finished size, cut the fabric 6" wide and then put it through the 3" Sasher.

You'll have perfectly folded strip every time!
